Decoding the Muskonomy

In 2023, I began publishing long-form educational articles on Medium exploring Tesla's business, strategy, and technology.

Backstory

As a Tesla retail shareholder, I was already spending significant time researching the company, its technology, and its long-term strategy. Through conversations on X and deep dives on YouTube, I was constantly exposed to new aspects of Tesla’s business that sparked deeper questions and ideas about its future.

When generative AI and large language models began gaining widespread attention in late 2022, I recognized their potential to accelerate research, organize information, and deepen my understanding of complex subjects. I began using OpenAI’s ChatGPT as a research and ideation tool to break down complex topics and transform what I was learning into long-form educational articles.

What started as a personal investment research process gradually evolved into publishing on Medium. In 2023, I published numerous long-form, AI-assisted educational articles exploring Tesla, Elon Musk’s companies, artificial intelligence, manufacturing, autonomy, and emerging technologies. These articles reached more than 20,000 readers and were referenced by financial, technology, and industry publications, extending their reach beyond Medium.

As my research expanded beyond Tesla, I decided to rebrand my presence on Medium and X as Muskonomy Expert. The name reflects how my work had evolved—from studying Tesla as an investor to exploring the broader ecosystem of companies, technologies, and industries associated with Elon Musk.
