Remix. Release. Repeat. Grow.
I grew a YouTube channel from 0 to 1,000 subscribers through hip-hop and pop remixes.
Backstory
After college, I was determined to DJ at bars in Portland, but COVID had other plans. I pivoted into music production, building beats in FL Studio using samples from Splice.
At first, I uploaded original beats to SoundCloud, but they struggled to gain traction. Realizing I needed a better way to reach listeners, I began remixing popular songs and uploading them to YouTube to tap into existing audiences. The remixes started gaining attention, and since then, I’ve continued sharpening my production and remixing skills with every release.
