I’m Aaron Smet.
I create content and explore ideas across video, music, social media, and internet culture. Some of what’s here are creative projects—short films, remix videos, meme pages, and experiments built out of curiosity. Other parts document personal milestones and experiences that shaped me, like becoming an Eagle Scout or walking on as a Division I track athlete.
I’m drawn to the process of chasing ideas, learning through them, and documenting what happens along the way. Sometimes that leads to something that resonates online at scale. Other times it’s something more personal and reflective. Both are meaningful to me.
This site is less of a traditional portfolio and more of an evolving collection of things I’ve explored, created, learned from, and cared enough about to share.
I borrowed inspiration for the format from Art Directors’ portfolios because I love the way they present ideas and process. But I don’t come from the advertising world. I just genuinely enjoy making things—video, music, storytelling, social content, and creative experiments that don’t always fit neatly into one category.
