COLD OPEN

EXT. WORLD-TREE CORRUPTION ZONE — NIGHT

A storm of red lightning rips across the sky.
Corrupted bamboo structures spiral upward, building themselves like living machines.

In the center stands SHEN’S TITAN FORM, partially repaired.
Corrupted vines wrap around his limbs like armor.

A glowing structure forms above his head —
a twisted halo of bamboo shards, crimson sap, and spirit energy.

THE OVERLORD CROWN.

A deep, alien voice echoes through the forest:

THE OVERLORD
The Guardian Flame rises…
So the Crown must awaken.

He extends a massive branch-hand toward the sky.

A beam of corrupted energy shoots upward —
piercing the clouds.

CUT TO BLACK.

TITLE CARD — “The Overlord’s Crown”

ACT I

SCENE 1 — THE CORRUPTION STORM APPROACHES

INT. DEEP ROOT NEXUS — CONTINUOUS

Toki, TokiToki, and Maya barely have time to react as a shockwave slams into the cavern.

Roots twist, petals scatter, and the Nexus trembles violently.

Maya checks her scanner — the readings spike off the charts.

MAYA
He knows!
Shen — the Overlord — he senses the Guardian Flame!

TokiToki looks toward Toki, who stands steady, flames flickering softly inside his chest.

TOKITOKI
Then he’s coming for us.

Elder Shan’s apparition appears, flickering urgently.

ELDER SHAN
You must flee the Nexus immediately.
The Overlord seeks to consume the Guardian Flame and complete the Crown.

Toki’s breath catches.

TOKI (soft chuff)
—He gestures toward the Nexus, unwilling to leave it vulnerable—

ELDER SHAN
The flame is within you now, Toki.
The Nexus has served its purpose.

The cavern trembles again — violently.

A crimson crack splits the ceiling.

Toki nods resolutely.

The trio runs toward the exit.

SCENE 2 — ESCAPE THROUGH THE ROOTS

INT. ROOT TUNNEL NETWORK — MOMENTS LATER

Toki leads the way, using his growing Guardian instincts to navigate the shifting tunnels.

Corrupted vines burst from the walls — glowing red, screaming like spirit banshees.

TokiToki yelps as one lunges at her.

Toki spins, igniting the Guardian Flame.

A wave of green fire repels the vine — cleansing it instantly.

Maya stares in awe.

MAYA
Your power… it’s stabilizing!

Toki growls proudly.

But then —
A massive tremor cracks the floor open beneath them.

They fall—

SCENE 3 — THE ROOT ABYSS

INT. CAVERNOUS ROOT PIT — CONTINUOUS

The trio lands on a ledge suspended above a pit of swirling corruption.

Maya coughs.

MAYA
Everyone okay?!

TokiToki nods—but freezes as the corruption below begins to rise, forming a horrifying shape.

A Corrupted Guardian Husk, resembling a twisted panda spirit with empty eyes, emerges from the pit.

Toki’s expression twists with horror.

TOKITOKI
(whispers)
Is that… another panda Guardian?

The husk rushes at Toki.

He blocks it — but its strength is monstrous.

It slashes him, sending him sliding across the ledge.

Toki roars in agony.

Maya scrambles through her pack.

MAYA
I—I can siphon its corruption, but only if you pin it down!

Toki squares his stance, ready to charge.

TokiToki steps in front of him.

TOKITOKI
No.
Let me help too.

She runs forward — fearless — sliding under the husk’s legs and using her sling to yank down a hanging root.

The husk stumbles.

Toki leaps, slamming it with a burst of Guardian flame.

Maya traps the corruption with her spirit siphon—

The husk disintegrates into ashes.

Toki breathes heavily.

TokiToki hugs him.

TOKITOKI
See?
We fight together.

He nuzzles her hair affectionately.

ACT II

SCENE 4 — SABLE’S FINAL REVELATION

EXT. FOREST NEAR NEXUS EXIT — LATER

The trio emerges from the corrupted cavern onto the forest floor.

The corrupted storm still brews above.

Maya checks her scanner — and freezes.

MAYA
No…
This can’t be right.

TokiToki leans over her shoulder.

TOKITOKI
What? What is it?!

MAYA
(voice shaking)
Sable’s life-energy signature…
It didn’t vanish.

Toki tilts his head.

MAYA
Her energy is moving…
Inside the Overlord.

The realization hits all of them.

TOKITOKI
Wh—
What are you saying?

MAYA
He absorbed her essence when she attacked him.
He’s using her strength… to forge the Crown.

Toki slams his paw into the earth in fury.

Elder Shan appears again.

ELDER SHAN
The Overlord Crown is a vessel of dominance.
Forged from stolen life and corrupted spirit.

TOKITOKI
(crying)
She sacrificed herself…
and he turned her into fuel?!

Shan nods grimly.

ELDER SHAN
The completion of the Crown would make him unstoppable.
A monarch of both worlds… forever.

Toki snarls — a sound filled with pain and rage.

SCENE 5 — THE OVERLORD’S EVOLUTION

EXT. CORRUPTED WORLD-TREE — SAME TIME

The Overlord rises before the camera — far larger than before.

The Crown spins above his head like a halo made of razor-sharp bamboo shards and pulsating red veins.

A shockwave ripples outward —
corrupting spirit creatures miles away.

He speaks in an unrecognizable, multi-layered voice:

THE OVERLORD
The Crown grows.
Soon the Guardian Flame…
will bow.

For a moment—
Shen’s true voice breaks through.

SHEN
(weak, scared)
Help…
me…

Then he disappears again.

ACT III

SCENE 6 — THE PROPHECY CONFIRMED

EXT. EDGE OF THE HOLY GROVE — TWILIGHT

The trio regroups in a sacred clearing untouched by corruption.

The Guardian Flame symbol on Toki’s chest glows brightly.

Maya replays the full prophecy text on a glowing hologram.

MAYA
(quiet, analytical)
The prophecy never says “kill the Overlord.”
It says “shatter the Crown.”
If we destroy the Crown…
Shen might survive.

TokiToki gasps with hope.

TOKITOKI
We can save him.
And save Toki too.

Elder Shan steps closer.

ELDER SHAN
Perhaps.
But know this —
The Crown is protected by a force stronger than anything you’ve faced.
It feeds on fear, sacrifice… and love.

Toki flinches — as if something in him resonates painfully.

Maya notices.

MAYA
Toki?
What is it?

Toki touches the Guardian Flame symbol.

It pulses frantically.

TOKITOKI
The Flame…
It’s warning you?

Toki nods slowly.

Suddenly — the sky above them splits open with crimson light.

SCENE 7 — SHEN’S MESSAGE

Shen’s corrupted voice echoes across the clearing, shaking the ground.

THE OVERLORD
Guardian…
Come to me.
Bring your Heart…
Bring your Mind…
And witness the rise of the new world.

A massive corrupted fissure opens at their feet — showing a vision of Shen’s world-tree throne.

Shen’s human eyes stare weakly from within the titan’s face.

SHEN (faint)
Please…
hurry…

The fissure slams shut.

SCENE 8 — THE DECISION

Toki looks between Maya and TokiToki.

TokiToki wipes her tears.

TOKITOKI
We’re going to save Shen…
And we’re going to save you.

Maya nods firmly.

MAYA
The prophecy says we fight as a Trinity.
He needs all three of us.

Toki places a paw in their hands.

For the first time, the Guardian Flame’s glow spreads from Toki into both girls — forming a triangular pulse of emerald light between them.

Elder Shan bows.

ELDER SHAN
Then it begins.
The Trinity rises…
And the Overlord shall fall or the world will.

FINAL SHOT

The camera pulls back as the trio stands united, glowing with shared Guardian energy.
Above them, the Overlord Crown pulses ominously with stolen power.
