TEASER
A flurry of red lanterns sway in the morning breeze. The sound of drums, laughter, and vendors fills the air.
A huge wooden banner is hoisted up:
“WELCOME TO THE ANNUAL LÓNGSHĀN BAMBOO GAMES!”
Toki’s eyes sparkle.
TokiToki jumps up and down.
TokiToki
This.
Is.
The BEST DAY EVER!
Toki lifts her onto his shoulders, her arms spread like airplane wings.
Ranger Liu sighs lovingly.
Ranger Liu
Just… please try not to destroy anything this year.
Cut to Toki accidentally knocking down a vendor tent with his belly.
Cue comedic sound effect.
Cue theme music.
ACT I
SCENE 1 — Festival Chaos
The festival bustles with activity: game booths, martial arts demonstrations, food stalls, panda-themed treats, and villagers in traditional outfits.
Toki tries to sample a dumpling, but the vendor insists he must win it by participating in a game.

To win, you must complete the Bamboo Balance Beam Challenge!
Toki steps onto the thin balance beam.
It snaps.
Instantly.
Toki falls into a pit of decorative plush carp.
Kids cheer.
Toki lifts a carp plush triumphantly.
TokiToki
Maybe… let’s skip the balance games.
SCENE 2 — TokiToki Enters a Competition
A sign reads:
“YOUNG WARRIOR CHALLENGE — Kids Only!”
TokiToki’s eyes gleam.
TokiToki
Maya, I MUST enter.
Maya
You literally blew up a robot last week.
Isn’t that enough action?
TokiToki
But this is different.
THIS is for glory.
Toki nods solemnly as if understanding the honor of festival glory.
Ranger Liu arrives.
Ranger Liu
Just remember—it’s not about winning.
It’s about teamwork, respect, and—
But TokiToki has already sprinted toward the signup booth.
Ranger Liu sighs.
Ranger Liu
—ignoring her father completely.
SCENE 3 — Toki’s Competition
Meanwhile, Toki is forcibly signed up for a competition by excited villagers.
“GIANT PANDA OBSTACLE COURSE — FOR BIG STRONG PANDAS!”
Toki looks terrified.
The course includes:
A bamboo hedge maze
A stump-hopping section
A rolling log challenge
A giant mud slide
And a 30-foot climbing pole

Go, Toki! This is your moment!
Become a LEGEND!
Toki looks at the towering climb.
He sits down.
Refuses.
Kids beg him.
A small child offers him a dumpling.
Toki suddenly stands up heroically.
Maya
He will literally do anything for food.
ACT II
SCENE 4 — Young Warrior Challenge Begins
Kids line up for the challenge.
The tasks:
Capture-the-Flag Maze
Balance on rotating bamboo logs
Team puzzle challenge
Mini bow-and-arrow precision shot
Mysterious final trial
TokiToki is confident—too confident.
Maya joins reluctantly because competitors must be in pairs.
Maya
I regret this already.
TokiToki
Nonsense! We’re unstoppable!
We have brains and chaos!
Maya
We only need one of those.
SCENE 5 — Toki’s Obstacle Course Begins
Toki enters the hedge maze.
Villagers cheer:
“GO PANDA!”
“STRONG PANDA!”
“SHOW US YOUR POWER!”
Toki takes one step…
Turns right…
And walks straight out the exit.
He completed the maze instantly because the walls are shorter than he is.
The judges look confused.
Judge
…Does that count?
Toki holds up a hand-drawn sign from a child that says “YES :)”
The judges shrug.
SCENE 6 — TokiToki & Maya Chaos
Task 1 — Capture-the-Flag Maze
Maya studies the map.
Maya
If we follow this grid, we can optimize our path and—
TokiToki sprints into the maze screaming “FOR HONORRRR!”
Maya facepalms and chases after.
Somehow, despite pure chaos, TokiToki tackles every challenge through sheer enthusiasm.
She physically wrestles the flag off a kid twice her size.
Maya is horrified.
Task 2 — Rotating Bamboo Logs
Kids fall into the shallow pool instantly.
TokiToki sprints across screaming joyfully and wipes out at the very end—
—but Maya catches her.

See? Teamwork!
Maya
(grumbling)
Mostly reckless physics.
Task 3 — Team Puzzle
A giant bamboo tile puzzle must be solved.
TokiToki tries to karate-chop it.
Maya stops her.
Maya
This is a puzzle, not a punching bag.
30 seconds later, Maya solves it flawlessly.
TokiToki claps loudly and takes full credit.
SCENE 7 — Toki’s Second Trial
Toki attempts the stump-hopping.
He steps on the first stump.
It sinks.
He falls into a mud pit.
TokiToki cheers anyway.
TokiToki
YOU DID IT, TOKI!
Maya
(whispering)
He did not.
ACT III
SCENE 8 — The Final Trial (Both Competitions Converge)
The final trial for the kids is announced:
“Retrieve the Spirit Ribbon from the Bamboo Tower!”
A tall wooden tower stands at the edge of the festival, decorated with ribbons.
But the tower suddenly begins to creak…
Something is wrong.
TokiToki squints.
TokiToki
That’s not supposed to move, right?
The tower tilts dangerously.
Villagers scream.
Ranger Liu rushes forward.
Ranger Liu
The support ropes snapped!
Everyone back!
Maya stares, horrified.
Maya
If it falls, it’ll crush the refreshment tent… AND the main stage!
TokiToki looks at Toki’s obstacle course climbing pole.
Their eyes meet.
A plan forms silently.
SCENE 9 — Hero Moment (Comedy + Heart)
Toki runs toward the climbing pole.
He grabs it—
And begins climbing.
The crowd gasps.
Villager
THE PANDA IS CLIMBING!
Another
IS THIS PART OF THE GAME?!
Toki scrambles awkwardly but powerfully.
He reaches the top.
TokiToki shouts:
TokiToki
NOW JUMP!!!
Toki…
Shakes violently.
He is terrified of jumping.
TokiToki lifts her little red-panda hood like a cape.
TokiToki
For glory, Toki!!!
Toki takes a deep breath—
Jumps—
And tackles the bamboo tower mid-fall.
The tower slows, hits the ground safely, narrowly avoiding the crowd.
Dust clears.
Toki stands on top of the safely collapsed tower…
Holding the Spirit Ribbon in his mouth.
Silence.
Then—
CHEERING ERUPTS.
Villagers
TOKI! TOKI! TOKI!
Toki blushes.
SCENE 10 — Epilogue
Ranger Liu hugs TokiToki tightly.
Ranger Liu
You two scared me half to death.
But… you also saved the festival.
Maya proudly shows TokiToki the medal the judges gave them.
Toki holds a massive basket of dumplings—the grand prize.
TokiToki sits beside him.
TokiToki
See, Toki? You ARE a legend.
Toki gently places one dumpling in her hand.
Fireworks illuminate the night sky.
FINAL SHOT
In the forest just outside the festival lights…
A small drone watches.
Recording.
Tracking Toki.
Red lens glowing.
Fade out.
