But she’s weakening.

Toki roars desperately—but his tiny voice is helpless.

A poacher charges.

Meili gathers her last strength, firing a massive blast that sends them flying.

The forest shakes.

TokiToki tears up.

Toki leans into her, needing comfort.

Meili collapses, breathing heavily.

She nudges baby Toki away—pushing him toward a safe thicket.

SCENE 5 — Ranger Liu Arrives

Another figure appears in the memory—

Ranger Liu, much younger, sprinting through the forest with a flashlight and field pack.

He sees the chaos.
Sees baby Toki crying beside Meili.
Sees Meili collapsing.
